Storage Systems

Cartem produce a range of heated vessels, all of which are designed for the safe storage of bitumens, asphalts and bituminous emulsions. The wide range of heating options, tank configurations and capacities means that clients can be provided with high quality products that exactly meet their site and process requirements.

Cartem Vertical Tanks

A vertically configured tank is a cost effective and space efficient option that is particularly ideal for the storage of large reserves of bitumen, or where ground space is at a premium. The Cartem range features capacities of 10,000 - 150,000 litres which are heated either by electric immersion heaters or indirect thermal oil.

Cartem Horizontal Tanks

A horizontal tank can be either cylindrical or rectangular in configuration. They are readily transportable and quick to install. The Cartem range features capacities of 10,000 - 100,000 litres which are heated by electric immersion heaters, direct oil, gas firing or indirect thermal oil.

Cartem Mobile Tanks

Usually semi trailer mounted, the tanks are designed for movement only when empty. They are ideal for working with mobile asphalt plants acting as strategic distribution centres or providing short term additional storage. The Cartem range features capacities of 20,000 - 60,000 litres which are heated by electric immersion heaters, direct oil firing or indirect thermal oil.

Cartem Spraying Equipment

Cartem provides a comprehensive range of vehicle mounted or towed spraying equipment suitable for applying all surface dressing bitumens and emulsions.

Cartem Distributors

From the wide range of spraybars, spraytanks and associated pumping and control equipment that is available from Cartem, complete vehicle mounted road surface dressing sprayers can be supplied to suit most contract requirements. The Cartem range features capacities of 5,000 - 18,000 litres which are heated by direct oil firing.
